Not a Selkie by stressedjenny
Author’s note: I get a lot of this. I draw Selkies the way I draw them because they look more interesting that way! Sorry to screw up your mythology! XD
I love the facial expressions
I like not-selkie. I dream of a selkie tattoo but drawings of selkies are rare and I don’t like many of them. These are adorbs.

Now that’s a big sea lion. Or at least much bigger than Wono. Wono (the female sea lion I work with) is 150-ish pounds. But males can be like 3 times as big as females.

allcreatures: littleorphanammo: Smoke, a 39 year old harbor seal in captivity at the New England Aquarium is presented with a special present for her birthday in
Boston, MA. Like many people of such advanced age, the seal has very
limited vision. Life expectancy for most seals is the mid-20’s.

This just looks like a tan line to me. I can’t get past that.

GPOY of the day.
I bought these flippers a month ago and I love them so much that I do a similarly undignified water-treading thing with them, and I’m sure I look very much like a pudgy seal (but not as cute) (and wearing a swim cap)
