When I joke about how I ship people, it’s a goofball way of wishing happiness on them.

For examples:  

  I ship Taylor Swift with Missy Franklin because they are both wonderful and I admire them both and I feel that the way Missy Franklin loves other girls could be good for T-Swizzle to be around. 

I ship Ryan Lochte with Cullen Jones or Michael Phelps because he clearly loves them and they clearly love him.    E.g

I ship Ryan Lochte with Captain America because it makes Anya happy and how adorable and puppy like they would be. 

Even when I joke about shipping ~my enemies~it’s because I believe love would make them less unpleasant.

The point of this is that I want good things for people because I like them, or want better things for them.  

I do not feel that way about Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney. I don’t want them to have happiness. Sorry but not sorry.
