this is exactly what the same group of queer/lesbian women (except harmonioussanctity, I think? and maybe others, idk) have been saying to the straight cis aces on here for nearly two fucking years—and I think the arguments started on LiveJournal before Tumblr even existed

they have been calling out the ace community brilliantly for its misogyny and misappropriation—which for the most part, the SJ blogs have ignored, thanks to the efforts of metapianycist and the other ace fuckasses who spread really gross, incoherent interpretations of sexuality that they shroud with terms like “sexual privilege” and “demiromanticism” so they can appear oppressed

but I like how when a white guy who runs an ally blog says it, he gets lauded as some fucking hero, A+ job Tumblr 

Clearly nothing is real unless some douchey dude blogger with a history of co-signing misogynistic bullshit says it, a year or so later.  Those are just the rules.
