We are excited to announce that the Asexual Worldpride Conference will take place in the Keyworth Centre of London South Park university on 12 July 2012. 

Confirmed speakers:

  • David Jay from San Francisco, USA (Founder of the Asexual Visibility and Education Network)
  • Nat Titman from Nottingham, UK (Founder of the the Livejournal asexual community)
  • Panel discussions, workshops and open discussions featuring international community leaders.

  • Screening of the (A)sexual movie!

  • Free lunch and cake!


The reception will begin the day at 9:30am with talks starting at 10am. We will finish with a screening of the (A)sexual movie, starting at 5:45pm. The final timetable is still being drafted ~ TBA. 

Places are limited to 100, so if you intend to come, please send a note to worldpride@asexuality.org. The event is open to both AVEN members and members of the public.

There is also a thread on the AVEN forums about the conference here. If you are interested in taking part in the Worldpride march the previous day - Friday, 7 July 2012 - please register in this thread or send an email to worldpride@asexuality.org.
